For the first time ever, Victor was short on rent money this March. Yet when he asked his wife to help, she refused despite having thousands in the bank. This disagreement resulted in the police coming. In the end, the police required his wife leave the home that night as she was the least composed party. The police determined Aaliyah was better staying with Victor for the night. 

A few days later, when Victor came home after work, he discovered his wife had taken Aaliyah, ALL of her things and moved out. She has changed her phone number and refuses to let Victor see his daughter. It has been over a month since Victor has seen or spoken with Aaliyah. Now his wife, has retained legal counsel and has filed for full custody. 

Victor has tried very hard to find pro-bono, low or reasonable cost legal help. Even with some great leads, he is simply unable to pay for these costly legal fees. Consequently, he has self-represented in two court hearings. In the most recent, the judge strongly recommended he obtain legal representation for this matter. Hence this plea for your participation. 

There are always two sides to a story. We are not blind to that. But Victor needs legal representation in a matter like this to prevent more sabotage and to assure he continues the important role of father in Aaliyah’s life. He misses her desperately.  Victor has reviewed and approved of my placing this GoFundMe on his behalf.
