Hi, my name is Eirinie, I am raising money for a beloved neighbour. The first week of March 2026, her 13 year old daughter* and another minor were sunbathing in a private space. They realised someone was taking photos of them, and they quickly informed my friend who called the police.

The police checked this man's phone and, at first, found nothing. They asked to view his deleted photos. He claimed he didn't know how to get into them. The police knew- they found 1400 photos from the past five days alone of my neighbour's daughter and her friends. Zoomed in photos of completely innocent, unsuspecting children.

He was arrested and there are pending charges for a criminal case. Now he is back in the neighbourhood, in close proximity to my neighbour and her 13 year old daughter.

My neighbour is a single mother, she has no support system, no option to leave. I want to raise enough money to ensure that she has options, and doesn't feel she is endangering her child by staying an apartment she cannot afford to leave. Perhaps she won't choose to leave, perhaps she can use the money we raise for therapy, time off work, time out of the neighbourhood. Whatever she chooses to do, I believe she, and her child, should have choices.

We are a community that should keep children safe, and enable their caregivers to do so, too.
