Help Veterans Lead Community Rescue Efforts

I'm a 22 year Army Combat Veteran that has served around the World. I've seen the worst of it and just returned from Western NC after the flooding in Sept 2024 and wanted to do more.

I decided to start Sozo Coterie Inc (33-3281418). An IRS registered 501c3 as of Mar/4/2025.

MISSION SOZO has two pillars.

1 setting up Veteran led missions in their communities to equip, train, and introduce Stop The Bleed! in to public space for free.

2 is taking the highly skilled Veterans and getting them educated in skillsets in Medical and Search/Rescue to support high risk mission that the government seems incapable of supporting such complexity quickly.

This money would be used to purchase medical supplies and send two identified eligible Veterans to training to support missions with our other non-profit partners.

I do not want these Veterans to pay out of pocket for their hotel, food, or transportation while they are at an upcoming Collapsed Structure Course and a Swifty Water Rescue Course scheduled this summer.
