Now, just in time for the holidays, the ex is trying to use the "fixer upper" status of his old farmhouse as a weapon against him in court and take his children from him. He is a loving and active father and wants nothing more than to have a good, loving home for his kids.

He needs to renovate the bathrooms in his house and repair the furnace before winter. The house also needs electrical repairs, major plumbing renovations, and chimney repairs. The quoted estimate for the plumbing alone is $14,000.
