My name is Veronica, and I’m a disabled engineer who has recently faced a major setback. My RV, which is not just my vehicle but my home, was impounded. This has left me in a difficult situation, especially given my car accident and the challenges that come with it. I’ve always worked hard to stay independent, but this unexpected event has made it impossible for me to move forward without help.
The funds raised here will go directly toward getting my RV/home out of impound and repairing the LPG system, which is essential for my safety and comfort. If there’s anything leftover, I plan to use it to help others who are also living from their vehicles. I know firsthand how tough it can be, and I want to pay forward any support I receive. There are so many ppl living in there vehicles today thanks to the housing crisis. It's rough on all of us when the city we live in is determined to eliminate us. Taking away 1s home/veh isn't going to fix anything. It'll only make things worse. The majority of ppl in this situation are good hardworking ppl. They don't deserve to be treated like criminals simply because rent is no longer affordable.
I learned long ago that we all do better when we help each other. Asking for help isn’t easy for me, but I believe in the power of community. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in my life and the lives of others. Thank you for considering supporting my journey and for being part of a caring community.
