Hey SupaStars, Family, Friends, Community!
I am reaching out for your support. I was in a car accident on March 22, 2017 while driving for Lyft in LA, with one passenger in the car. Everyone involved in the accident was okay, but my car sustained rear bumper and frame damage that needed to be repaired before I could get back on the road and back to work. Even though I feel the accident wasn’t my fault (I was hit from behind), Lyft, the other driver’s insurance and even my insurance determined I was at fault! Therefore, I must pay for the repair out-of-pocket, an expense, I do not have at this time, unfortunately! Hence, I started this GoFundMe campaign to raise the $3000 needed to pay for the repair of my car!
As some of you reading this know, I moved to LA less than a year ago to further pursue my dreams of being a successful, full-time, thriving Artist who empowers and uplifts community through my creative endeavors. LA is one hell of a city, challenging to say the least to get one’s footing, and to get one’s foot in the door. In the meantime, I must sustain myself and for me, my car plays a very valuable role in my sustenance in LA. Pretty much all of my work involves driving my car, from delivering people to delivering food, walking dogs and hopefully soon, gigging. So I really need it.
My car has been at United Collision Specialists repair shop in LA since the accident and they have already repaired it. They are just waiting for me to come pay for it and drive it away. This is where I could truly use your help please. Please make a contribution today, whatever you can $5, $10, $20, $50, or more so I can retrieve my car and get back to work immediately!
