Help Veronica Fulfill Her Bucket List
Donation protected
Hi friends, family and community. I am Grandma Leanne. I am hoping to reach out to you on behalf of our granddaughter Veronica Calhoun.
In October of 2022 Veronica had emergency brain surgery and was diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma. This is a fast growing brain cancer. She began radiation and chemo treatments and had continued chemo until recently. Her headaches returned and she was not well. An MRI was performed like many times before but this time the doctors told the family there is nothing more they can do. Veronica has months to live.
Since her diagnosis she has graduated high school, held a part time job and continued her education, taking classes at Everett Community.
Last week when the doctors told her there was nothing more they could do, she started a bucket list. She has many things on it and I am sure it will continue to grow as she thinks about it further. She wants to get a tattoo or 3, see a Seahawks game, go to Paris, swim with dolphins, go on a Mexican cruise. There are more...
All of this takes money and we as a family will be helping as much as we can but we would like to help her achieve as many of her bucket list items as possible. So, I am coming to you to ask if you can donate even a little we can start ticking off her list. Any extra funds will be used for future medical expenses as more care is needed.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering a donation. Big or small everything helps.
Thank you Grandma Leanne.
