I came back home to Ohio with my children to help my mother after surgery, never expecting that our lives would be turned upside down so quickly. While we were here, the engine blew on the vehicle I had purchased only four months earlier. I had been working as a courier through several platforms, and when my car broke down, that income came to a halt. Since then, I have been doing everything I can to keep my children safe and sheltered. I used my tax return to pay for temporary housing while I searched for work, and I have now found employment that pays the next day. Even with that, the cost of paying day by day for a room has made it impossible to save enough to move us into a stable home.

I have found a place for my children and me, but I need help covering the first month and security deposit so we can finally stop living one day at a time. More than anything, I want my children to have stability again and their own rooms where they can feel safe, rest, and just be kids. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us move out of temporary shelter and into a home where we can begin to rebuild.
