Help Veer Build a Safe Home in Nepal

The time has come for Veer to build a safe home for his family. Many of you know Veer for his kindness, humility, and gentle wisdom. I met him in 2013 at a café in Tapovan, and over the past 13 years I have known him to be deeply honest, compassionate, and devoted to serving others. Veer was born in a remote village in Kalikot, Nepal. As a baby, he suffered a severe burn injury that left one hand permanently impaired. At eight years old, he was given the opportunity to live and study at Ramana’s Garden in Rishikesh, where he received an education, underwent multiple surgeries, and later began teaching yoga. He has since completed extensive studies, including a master’s degree, and now supports his wife, Sita, and their young son, Evans, through his work. Veer dreams of returning home to Nepal to build not only a safe, earthquake-resistant house for his family, but eventually a small community space offering education and job skills for his village. Before he can give back to his community, he needs help building a modest three-bedroom home with basic facilities. Teaching yoga is meaningful but financially unstable work, especially since the pandemic. If you feel moved, please consider donating. No amount is too small — together we can help Veer create a secure foundation for his family and his future service to his village.
