My name is Vanesa Velasco. I'm reaching out for help, which is new for me as I usually support my boyfriend and family. On July 27 at 10:57 pm, I received a call from my sister about a tragic car accident involving my boyfriend's two brothers and cousins. They were out buying food when it happened. My boyfriend rushed to the scene and witnessed the aftermath.
His younger brother was on a stretcher, calling for his cousin, while his older brother sat injured.
The next day, we learned that his younger brother has broken legs and head injuries, and his older brother has a broken arm, nose, and neck injury. Their cousin underwent head surgery and will need therapy for multiple injuries, including learning to walk again.
He woke up and spoke a little on July 29.
They are ages 19, 20, and 22, pay rent, and cannot work for now. Any assistance with medicine, food, or therapy would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for understanding.
