As you likely already know, I'm Erin and my husband Josh and I have been parenting our niece Aura for the last year. We are moving up quickly to getting permanent custody, and were fortunate enough to get help in supporting the initial retainer fee of $1,500 to start this process. Unfortunately, there have been additional costs since,  which will mean an additional retainer fee. We have been able to put forward a few hundred more ourselves, and will be going to our bank to look at other options, but coming up with $3,000 (just for the retainer) isn't easy. We are hoping to get your help once again as we have just over a month to come up with the remaining fees.
