Help us with our surrogacy journey

Hi everyone,

We’re Rebecca and Jordan—a couple deeply in love and ready to take the next big step in our journey together: starting a family. We’ve always dreamed of becoming parents and can’t wait to hear the sound of little footsteps filling our home one day.

However, our path to parenthood isn’t a simple one. Rebecca has lived with type 1 diabetes since the age of 4 and was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2020. Over the past few years, she’s experienced up to three seizures a day, and her blood sugar levels were dangerously unstable.

Thankfully, with ongoing treatment and care, her health is now more stable. But after many consultations, doctors have told us that pregnancy would be too risky for Rebecca and the baby. It’s heartbreaking, but we know that her safety must come first.

Our best and safest option is to freeze Rebecca’s eggs and grow our family through surrogacy. We’re hoping to begin the process in 2025 and welcome our miracle baby in 2026.

Surrogacy in the UK is legal, but unfortunately not funded, and the costs fall entirely on intended parents. While we can’t pay a surrogate directly, we are responsible for all associated medical and hospital expenses—egg and sperm freezing, treatments, embryo transfer, and ongoing care. These costs add up quickly, and we’ve been quoted around £50,000, not including legal fees.

We’re reaching out with hopeful hearts to ask for your support. Any amount you can give—big or small—will bring us one step closer to holding our baby in our arms. Even if you’re unable to donate, sharing our story means the world to us.
