My name is Morgan Mayo, and I am the President of Rooted in Black at our local university. In honor of Black History Month, our organization is planning an educational trip to the African American Museum of Iowa in Cedar Rapids.

However, our university is charging $550 for transportation, which is a significant cost for our student group. This expense creates a real barrier to making this trip possible.
