Help Us Turn Loss Into Light
Support Anitra’s Light Foundation – Turning Ashes Into Beauty
On September 21, 2024, my daughter Anitra Holloman, just 21 years old, was tragically killed in a mass shooting in Birmingham, Alabama. Twenty-one people were shot, and four were killed — Anitra was one of them.
She left behind her one-year-old daughter, Skiler, who had already lost her father to gun violence before she was born. In just one year, this little girl lost both parents to senseless violence.
In her honor, I created Anitra’s Light Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to helping children and young adults who have lost a parent due to gun violence or other tragic circumstances.
