We did it, lovies! Blackbird Clothing Exchange has a new home at 318 Oxley Avenue, Margate!

When the search for a new location began, I had a list of must-haves: lots of space, room to grow, pram accessibility, storage, and a car park. A space came up that ticked all those boxes, except for the setup costs. Determined to secure it, I held a few sales. Even though the target wasn’t reached, my love for Blackbird and its role in our community was reaffirmed.

In a stroke of luck, a property in Margate met all our criteria. Although I initially thought it was out of reach, fortune favours the bold, so I made the call. And forty-eight hours later, Blackbird Clothing Exchange secured its perfect new location.

Now, we need your help to turn this wonderful space into a fully functional shop. Due to the nature of the building, we need new racks, thousands of hangers, and other essential items. To cover these fit-out costs, we're aiming to raise $10,000 by mid-August.
