I am Rana Salim, reaching out to you from Gaza with a heavy heart and an urgent plea for help. My family lives in Jabalia Camp, Alfaloja neighborhood, where we have endured unimaginable genocide and bombardment.

Our family has been displaced multiple times, and our home has been bombed twice. Despite the massive destruction around us, we held on to hope until the recent escalation of attack changed everything.

During the latest Israeli invasion, my family was in our home when it was attacked for the second time. We were forced to evacuate, and our house was subsequently burned down. In the shelling, my father was injured, suffering a concussion and multiple fractures in his back and feet. Tragically, no ambulances or civil defense units could reach us due to the siege.

My father Mohamed Salim is now suffering from the head injury without medical care knowing that he is diabetic patient and needs medication everyday.

We are appealing to the world for help to evacuate my family from Gaza, where we have faced relentless bombing and starvation, to ensure my father receives the urgent medical treatment he needs and that we can find safety and stability.

We are struggling to survive. My father was temporarily hospitalized at Kamal Idwan Hospital, where he witnessed the brutal shelling and lacked any medical assistance for days. A friend managed to evacuate him in a wheelchair, but the journey back home was fraught with danger

My mother, in her sixties, suffers from

knee osteoarthritis and chronic hypertension, which makes her condition even worse.

She, too, needs consistent medical care that is no longer available in Gaza.

Our family also includes my aunt, who is over eighty years old and requires special health care. We have witnessed the worst conditions imaginable. We were recently displaced to Al-Shati refugee camp after our house was bombarded and my father was injured.

The only way to leave Gaza is to obtain a permit to cross the Rafah border between Gaza and Egypt, which is costly. Every euro raised through this campaign will be used seriously to cover a range of basic expenses for my family
