HELP us to save POLPERRO CHAPEL

HELP us to save our precious Chapel!
Organised by Kathy Hebbs and Angela Searle uk.gofundme.com
At the heart of the picturesque village of Polperro in Cornwall is one of its most iconic buildings.
POLPERRO CHAPEL
Home to the famous Polperro Fishermen’s Choir.
This Chapel, which has been at the heart of spiritual support and Methodism since it opened in 1904 now desperately needs some tender loving care of its own.
This beautiful Chapel is in danger of closing if we cannot secure funding to carry out the major necessary repairs to the roof and fabric of the building.
An estimated figure of £50,000 is needed to carry out this work.
We are working hard to set up new groups and activities, utilizing the modern Community room, toilets and kitchen which we raised funds to build in the late 1990s.
As soon as Covid restrictions are lifted, we can return to organising our Community lunches, Bazaars, sales etc which benefit the whole village and surrounding areas. We are also the collection point for the much needed Food Bank in our area.
BUT without these repairs none of this can happen! Can you please help us by sharing or donating to this GoFundMe campaign? Thank you.
