Help us to save cultural and natural spaces

This June, we’re embarking on an incredible 192-mile charity walk from Dover to Pilton, led by DJ and producer Woody Cook and his music collective, Truth Tribe, who will not only be walking this long distance but hosting DJ pop-ups along the way.

Our mission is to save vital grassroots venues, protect the natural spaces we inhabit, and raise awareness of environmental and social issues.

From independent music venues to our natural environment, many of the spaces that foster human connection and creativity are under threat. In 2023, the UK suffered the closure of a grassroots venue every two weeks, jeopardising the careers of emerging artists and leaving communities without essential cultural spaces. Alongside this, our country's natural environment is deteriorating, ranking in the bottom 10% globally for biodiversity.

By walking across the UK, we aim to combine these issues to inspire action, educate, and support the charities fighting for these causes. We've managed to fund this walk entirely ourselves so 100% of all donations can be split evenly between the five amazing organisations:

Liveline Fund (via Music Venue Trust) – Strengthening the future viability of the UK grassroots music ecosystem

The Wildlife Trusts – Protecting nature and wildlife

Greenpeace – Fighting environmental destruction

WaterAid – Bringing clean water to those in need

Oxfam – Tackling global poverty
