Hi, I'm Tim, a lot of you will probably already know me as the crazy man who is refurbishing the Fingerposts around Winsham.

I was approached nearly a year ago by an ex resident of Purtington concerning the terrible condition of the Fingerpost at Purtington Cross, as you can see from the photo it was lovely back in the early 1960's, we would love to see it back to its former glory which is where you come in.

We need to raise £1,420 +VAT to give it a complete refurb, and to get two new arms cast, one to replace the modern arm pointing to Hewish, the refurbishment would be done in the Spring as long as we can raise the funds to do so.
