The Corner Club was created by two good friends: Stef (a former secondary school teacher) and Mitch (a boxer and boxing coach).
Dedicated to improving boys’ and men’s
mental health and wellbeing. Our unique model combines
professional boxing training with guided reflection circles,
creating a safe and supportive space where participants can
strengthen both body and mind.
In the ring, participants build discipline, resilience, and
confidence through training with qualified boxing coaches. In
reflection circles, they are encouraged to open up in honest
conversations - breaking down stigma and barriers that too
often prevent men from sharing their struggles.
We believe resilience comes from both body and mind. By
blending physical training with meaningful dialogue, The
Corner Club offers a rare environment where men and boys
can connect, share, and support one another. Our mission is
simple: to fight stigma, build community, and find strength in
vulnerability “Gloves Up, Guard Down.”
With continuous support, it would give us the opportunity to grow and expand Corner Club, changing the lives of men who need it the most.
