Urgent Help to evacuate my Family from Gaza

Who am I:

My name is Nour Albarrawi, I am a 25 years old mother of two children Hala (6) and Karim (2) and I'm six months pregnant.

It's not easy to create a "GoFundMe" and ask people I don't know for support, but it seems that leaving Gaza is our last chance to survive.. The situation here is getting worse day by day, there is a total lack of everything. Being in my third trimester of pregnancy without enough medical care is extremely dangerous and I have no idea what kind of circumstances I may eventually have to give birth in. I am terrified that because of the starvation we are experiencing that I would struggle to even breastfeed my child. Even though I hoped to give birth in my home land, my only concern now is to protect the lives of my children, my husband, my parents and my siblings. We want to leave Gaza as soon as possible.

Who are we and what happened:

My family consists of my husband Montaser (35), my siblings, Haya (26), Salma (24), Elia (18), Obaida (13) and Mohammad (12) and our parents Hatem (52), Afnan (48). Our house that we lived in together was destroyed on 6 of December 2023 by an Israeli air strike.

Our health situation is deteriorating; there is a severe shortage of food, clean drinking water is extremely difficult to come by and diseases are spreading like wildfire. We are now sheltering in a school by the North of Gaza and we're isolated fromaid drops and anything that could help. Hospitals are barely functioning should we need any treatment or medication. These difficult circumstances have led us to take the decision to try and leave Gaza.

My little siblings used to study Computer Engineering and Development, Architecture Engineering and Elia was supposed to be starting her first year at medical school. All I want for them is a future with safety and the prospect of having a normal life.

What will happen with the money:

To leave Gaza, each person has to pay €5.000 at the Rafah crossing. Because Gaza is under a decades long siege exiting through Rafah is our only option and we don’t get to decide the terms and conditions. Unfortunately, to get all the eleven of us out, it will cost €60.000, hence the fundraising target of the same amount. It is our pledge that every contribution, no matter how big or small, will be put towards ensuring the safety and survival of my family.
