Help us to survive the war and escape Gaza

My name is Salma Akeela and I am trying to help my family escape Gaza.

In the heart of Gaza, on Tal al-Hawa Street, our family lived in a humble home that stood as a testament to generations of love, resilience, and shared dreams. Its walls were alive with memories—laughter, tears, and moments of hope that defined who we are.

But all of that changed when the conflict struck. The sound of bombs became an ominous presence, shattering the peace we once took for granted. The ground trembled beneath us as the life we knew crumbled around us. Each passing day brought new hardships, but amidst the chaos, our family clung to each other, drawing strength from the bond we share.

One fateful day, the unimaginable happened—our beloved home, the place that held our history, was destroyed. The walls that had sheltered us were reduced to rubble, and we were left with nothing but the clothes on our backs and the will to survive. Homeless and heartbroken, we vowed not to let this tragedy define our future.

Your support would mean the world to us, providing a chance to rebuild our lives away from the conflict's grip and to find a safe haven where we can begin anew. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to a future where we can once again know peace and stability.

When we began this fundraiser we hoped that the war would end soon and we could rebuild our beautiful home. Unfortunately for us, the war did not stop. In order to survive, we must leave Gaza.

However, seeking asylum elsewhere is an uphill battle. The borders are closed and being able to leave is dangerous and costly. We cannot do this alone. That is why we turn to you, humbly appealing for your support. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to reclaiming our home and our dignity.
