SUPPORT US TO BUY LAND FOR FARMING&HELP US EMPLOY OURSELVES

Hello our vegan friends, Friends of our friends, Animal lovers, and strangers.

My name is Henry Ngwena. I'm a vegan since 2021 and a Founder of Tanzania vegan Community located in East Africa/ on a beautiful country called Tanzania.

On behalf of Vegans in Tanzania and Africa I'm asking for economic support to support our goal to buy a farm for vegan crops cultivation in Tanzania.

➡I (henry) the leader of TANZANIA VEGAN COMMUNITY I've tried to find a permanent job for a while but I couldn't find one especially that one that doesn't not involve exploitation of animals so after doing a research I've find to suitable to work in farming activities to sustain the life as a vegan and a leader of T.V.C. and be a good example for every vegan communities in Africa. Briefly Farming is the only activity that I feel I can clearly do without involving myself into animal cruelty here in my country. This will be helpful ad its going to help us and become financially independence vrgan organization in Africa.

Here is a brief background of our vegan community for three years.

Tanzania vegan community!! Is a growing community operating from 2022 up yp date

In three phases.!!

Our first term we dedicated our time on rescuing and treating stray dogs and cats.

We spent the total budget of 930$ in the first year!

➡From 2022-2023

The main activities here were!!

➡Treatment stray dogs and cats.

Involved vaccinating dogs who were about to be euthanized because they were not vaccinated.

Costs 420$

➡I had to move from parent house because they were not allowing me to keep the dogs

so I had to use some money to rent a house that allow me stay with dogs.

Costs 160$ six months

➡I also use the fund to buy foods for the dogs in which the number grew from two dogs to 12dogs.

Costs 90$

➡I also use the fund to buy a wheelchair for my five years brother (who is suffering from spinal cord born desease.

Costs 170$

And other costs for the veterinarian!

All this money was donated with our vegan friends across the world online and physically according to the cause in the mean time.

Teaching kids at nursery school and hosting volunteers.

This term we involved activities like teaching kids about veganism at a nursery schools and other humanitarian activities with our volunteers.

➡We received our first volunteers on 18/5/2023 from south Africa.

And other six volunteers up to the end the year.

➡To make this possible I had (henry) to pay for an extra room as I didn't have money to rent whole house to finance my visitors.

So I hosted my first volunteer using the little money I had worked for as part time ship cleaner at the port here in Tanzania I'm still working there up to date as part time worker.

➡September in 2023 I received another vegan volunteer/ A friend.

He is the one who managed to rent the whole house so we can stay and more volunteers to stay.

➡He also managed to buy more stuff for the house. Beds and kitchen stuff and chairs

He did all this to support our efforts to spread veganism awareness in Africa.

Don't know much it costs but its around

900s to 1000 US dollars

Then more volunteers came and make my dream to host vegan volunteers came true.

➡The main purpose of hosting volunteers is to acquire more skills.

Technological awareness and gaining experience from vegans from different cultures! I'm happy to say this has helped me and my team a lot.

As now we are able to distinguish ourself from less trustful vegan communities from Africa.

kept receiving more volunteers untill march 2024. When I had a problem with my landlord as I couldn't manage to pay rent on time so she closed the house that I used yo stay with my volunteers and I lost everything that my volunteers bought For our community.

Fortunately I have rented another house after being supported with other vegan friends but this time I don't have anything inside the house I'm starting over again.

And more vegan friends are about to visit us this summer.

Third term 2024-2025

Since Our organization has no reliable sources of income.

As a leader of this community I feel not ok to depend or overburden our vegan friends with frequent fundraisings.

I've come up with farming project to help us cover the costs of living and become independent to run our organization and to create employment opportunities for other vegan friends in the country.

Thats how we came up this cause for you to support us for one last time.! So that we can become totally independent running organization.

➡We are now operating our activities on a renting portion of land which is not enough

for our growing community and we have to pay rent after every three months which is less affordable and hinder our growth as a growing vegan community in Africa.

We kindly starting a fundraise with the goal of 5000 To finance

➡3 acres of land (farm)/Cost

1 acre for 1500$each.

➡A water pumping machine/300$

➡Preparing the farm for the first time/15O

➡Buying organic manures/100$

➡buying modern seeds/50$

➡Fencing the farm/150$

➡fees and government tax for farm/500$

Here is how this project will have a positive impact on animals life.

➡First the money collected after selling vegetables from the farm will be used to treat the stray pets. And finance any legal process for the animals whenever it happens.

➡The profits will be used to pay rent for the volunteers house so that our vegan volunteers will be able to stay for a little and affordable costs.

➡The vegetables from the farm will be used as food at our vegan community center and we can probably open a vegan restaurant so that we can earn more money and finance our community instead of depending on fundraise.

➡Briefly The main aim for this fundraise is to support our economic situation by investing in an activity which is relatively free from animal oppression. Which is farming activity.

➡We will be sharing all the details and legal documents to make sure that everyone create a trustful environment for bothside.
