Help us to build a new shed and buy some tools.

Harlow community men’s shed is a place for men to come and socialise and to have a safe environment to have other men to open up to. We currently have around 40 men interested in joining us but at the moment we don’t have the room to take anyone else. The money raised here will help to build a second shed so we can run more sessions with more space. 

I have been involved since day one and it has helped me so much. I have been in the mental health system for 11 years and this is the best I have felt. The only groups offered to people with mental health in this area are things like relaxation nothing practical and this is why we get a lot of referrals. I still get my wobbles with my mental health but the other members here are so supportive and it’s somewhere I can open up and speak to people and feel comfortable.
