A few friends and I will be flying out to Bucharest, Romania to volunteer to help Ukrainians fleeing the war in whatever way we can. We will be there from the 4th-11th of March. We will be heading to the border town of Siret where many thousands of migrants are coming in, terrified, in need of warm clothes, sim cards and guidance.
We are asking all our friends and family for donations so we can purchase these items and hand them to those in dire need. We are working in coordination with JRS (Jesuit Refugee Service) of Romania, who have informed us that coats, hats, blankets and gloves are needed as it is extremely cold at the moment. Sim cards and phone batteries they are very important as they hook up refugees immediately with internet and calls in Romania which allows them to get vital legal guidance and helps them get in touch with friends and family and figure out their next steps. Please consider giving what you can - ALL contributions will go towards helping those in need of assistance.
Thank you !
