Inspired by OAK and LAX, Southwest Airlines’ Denver based pilots are collecting funds to bring food and beverages to Denver ATC to show our support and gratitude for their hard work without pay during the government shutdown. As pilots we work closely with ATC each and every flight; They are there for us every day, so let’s show them our support in return!

Funds are being hand delivered by volunteers to ATC facilities (Tower, TRACON, and Center) in the form of food (pizzas, chips, cookies, snacks) and drinks (sodas and seltzer waters). Any remaining funds are being delivered in a signed card in the form of a cash fund/gift cards for controllers to use as needed during the lapse in pay.
