Surprising our parents after the hurricane!

Hey everyone. All of Wanda and Dickies kids and grandkids need a little help. Most of you will know what kind, giving, and loving people my parents are. They are always there to help everyone. Sadly, Over the years my parents have faced multiple hurricanes, with flooding, wind and water damage. It’s been a struggle just to maintain, so they have never put back actual flooring and still have windows broken. We can’t wait any longer. The kids have to wear shoes inside at all times to avoid any more splinters (there have been many). Their non walking grand babies can not play on the floor. It’s also impossible to keep plywood clean, no matter how hard they try. We didn’t do this before because my parents do not like to receive help, but as they get older we want them to enjoy life more. It’s a necessary that we step in, no matter how much they protest and say “we are okay, don’t worry we will get it.” As they get older it’s harder and harder to manage and this is the time they should be spending with their grandchildren in a SAFE environment. They are going out of town soon and we hope to raise enough to get started while they are gone. It’s going to be a big job but I know enough of y’all will help us make this a special surprise for them. SHHH!!! Please don’t share this with them! They deserve the world and we just want them to know how much we love them, but would refuse help if they knew (stubborn all the way!). We will be doing the work and just need materials. If you are free to help us clean up, lay floors, or paint, message /call me! More work is needed but this will improve daily life!
