Remembering Esther Bolaños — The Heart of Our Family
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Strangers,
With broken hearts, we share the unimaginable news of the passing of our beloved Esther Bolaños, who left us on April 21st at the age of 74. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend—truly the heart of our family. Esther was a woman of deep compassion, always offering a warm meal, a kind word, or a helping hand to anyone in need. Her love was a constant light in our lives.
Our family’s world was turned upside down when a drunk driver’s reckless actions caused a tragic accident that left Esther severely injured and bedridden. She endured unimaginable pain in the months that followed, unable to walk or care for herself, yet still showing us strength, grace, and resilience through every moment. Despite all the care and love surrounding her, her body could no longer bear the suffering, and she passed away, surrounded by family.
As we grieve this profound loss, we are also navigating the heavy financial burdens left behind—hospital bills, caregiving expenses, and now the costs of laying her to rest with the dignity and love she deserves. We are reaching out in the hopes that our community might come together, as Esther so often did for others, to help carry us through this difficult time.
Any donation, no matter the size, will go toward covering these expenses and ensuring our abuelita is honored in the way she so deeply deserves. If you’re unable to give, we ask that you please share this message and hold our family in your prayers.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your compassion, support, and love.
With gratitude,
The Bolaños Family
