Hi, we are Kate, May, Brenda, and Ella. We are students at Bridgewater State University, and we want to give back to our community. We are raising funds for the West Bridgewater Food Pantry, located at 457 Rear, South Main Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
Through your generous donations, we will purchase and distribute essential items that the food pantry is in need of.
The West Bridgewater Food Pantry was founded in 1988 and has continued expanding its outreach since. Today, they partner with The Greater Boston Food Bank and run a parent pantry at Bridgewater State University. In addition to distributing nutritious foods, they focus on sustainable food education and community engagement. The West Bridgewater Food Pantry is now serving about 80-90 families at each distribution, but they are low on some supplies. We want to help them by bringing in more donations. They are run entirely by unpaid volunteers, and we want to show our gratitude for their commitment to the Bridgwater community.
