Given the current ICE and federal presence in Minneapolis, food banks are struggling, and failing, to keep up with demand. There is an Insta account (@minnesota_neighbors) dedicated to sharing food banks, donation centers, and events that are in need of help. My partner and I scour grocery stores and warehouses such as Costco for deals on items that food banks desperately need.

Our last haul was $450 of canned beans, chicken thighs, diapers, and fresh produce for a local food pantry in southern Minneapolis (receipt in the images). Your donations will go to buying much-needed items for local churches and charities, buying items they specifically request and are in need of.
