Hi, my name is Randy, and I’m raising funds to help cover the cost of adjusting the immigration status for my children — especially my son, who is medically fragile and needs consistent, life-saving care.

Earlier this year, I had to make the difficult decision to leave Texas and move to New York City so my son could access the specialized medical treatment he urgently needed. He has cerebral palsy and gets fed through a G-tube, which requires constant care, equipment, and frequent hospital visits. Every dollar I had saved went into making that move possible.

Now, we’re facing a new challenge. Because of their immigration status, Medicaid coverage for my son is uncertain, and without it, we can’t afford the care he depends on. Adjusting my children’s status is the first step toward stability — so they can have the healthcare and opportunities they deserve.

Just so you have a better understanding, my wife and kids came here on a fiancée visa in June 2024, so they entered the US legally. All the money I had saved up to adjust their status I had to use towards my move to NYC, which is why I’ve delayed adjusting their status.
