We are a family of five—a pregnant mother, a father, and three small children.

Not long ago, we had a home, a life filled with warmth and love. But war came and tore everything apart. We were forced to flee, wandering from place to place, searching for safety. After a year and a half, we thought the nightmare had ended. We returned home, believing we could rebuild what was lost and find peace again.

But the war has returned. The borders are closed, the bombings are relentless, and once again, we have been forced to flee. We left our home with nothing, not knowing where to go or how to survive.

Now, we are in urgent need of help—to buy a simple tent, to endure the unbearable, to provide for our children, and to face the cruel reality of displacement.

I don’t even know what to say to you

After seven months

I want to share my heartbreaking story with you. I lost my baby girl after seven months of pregnancy due to preeclampsia, which sent me to the intensive care unit for five days. After countless treatments, the doctors managed to control my blood pressure and treat the infections. Yet, my heart muscle weakened to only 45% because of the immense strain — caused by the war, the unclean water, the lack of food, and the constant displacement from one place to another.

My fragile body could no longer bear it, and these complications nearly took my life.

Alhamdulillah, I am still here today, surrounded by my family.

I share my story with you not only for honesty but to make our suffering heard. In this war, we have lost ourselves… we have lost our children, our friends, our loved ones, and everything that once gave life meaning. The war has destroyed us physically and emotionally. Now, we fight only to survive… to live out the rest of our days without passion, without joy.
