My daughters and I are currently homeless and staying in a shelter in Lexington, Missouri, after fleeing a domestic violence situation. It has been a difficult journey, but we are determined to rebuild our lives and create a safe, stable home together. With the support of my caseworker from the League, we have been able to secure a new house, and our first month's rent and deposit have been covered. For that, I am truly grateful.

Now, as we prepare to move into our new home, we are starting from scratch. We don't have any bedding, kitchen items, or clothing, and we need help furnishing our house so that my daughters and I can feel comfortable and safe. Your support, whether big or small, will help us create a fresh start and give my family the stability we need to heal and move forward.
