My story isn't unique — I know many families are facing difficult times right now. But this is my family's reality, and I feel called to share it.

On December 6th, around 10 a.m., my father was picked up by ICE on his way to work. He came to this country with one hope: to give his family a better life. Through years of hard work and sacrifice, he did exactly that.

Because of him, his children had opportunities he never had. He is now a grandfather to seven beautiful grandchildren who love him deeply.

My dad is a hardworking, humble man, and he leaves behind my mom, who is now facing all of this on her own. He is still fighting his case, and we are doing everything we can - emotionally, spiritually, and financially - to support both of them. But the reality is, the costs are overwhelming. Even covering the bare necessities has become difficult.

I'm asking, from the bottom of my heart, for your help. If you feel moved to donate — even a dollar — it truly makes a difference.

El 6 de diciembre, alrededor de las 10 a. m., ICE recogió a mi padre de camino al trabajo. Llegó a este país con una esperanza: darle a su familia una vida mejor. A través de años de trabajo duro y sacrificio, hizo exactamente eso. Gracias a él, sus hijos tuvieron oportunidades que él nunca tuvo. Ahora es abuelo de siete hermosos nietos que lo aman profundamente. Mi padre es un hombre trabajador y humilde, y deja atrás a mi madre, que ahora se enfrenta a todo esto por su cuenta. Todavía está luchando contra su caso, y estamos haciendo todo lo posible, emocional, espiritual y financieramente, para apoyarlos a ambos. Pero la realidad es que los costos son abrumadores.
