Hello all, my name is Feliciana.  My mother, Kristie is currently involved in a child custody/child support case along with a domestic violence case against the father of my 4 year-old sister.  Legal fees are making it incredibly hard to stay current on our bills and with the attorney.  I am here to ask for everyone's help.  The following is our story:

About 6 years ago my brothers and I relocated from our home in Houston, Texas with our mom to be with a man who my mom was engaged to in New Jersey. Little did we know, this was going to change our lives forever. We are now across the country without our extended family/support system, which this man used to his full advantage. This man sold us hopes and dreams that were never going to be fulfilled, but rather turned into nightmares and regrets. Not only was my mom affected by him, I had to give up my teenage years to help my mom take care of my sister. I had to postpone my first year of college, and even now I am still having to put my life on hold because this ‘man’  has never done his part of taking care of my sister. My mom is a victim of severe emotional and physical abuse by him. While together, he made it financially impossible for her to live a normal life. It wasn’t so easy to just get away because my mom had my baby sister by him and that would be the third time she had to rebuild her life due to the damage this man has caused her. There is so much I can say about this man’s character but the biggest concern is my baby sister. I cannot remember one day this man has been a ‘father’ to her, or ever cared. He has never loved either one of them the way they deserved. My mom was able to move us out of their house, into our own. It was so hard for her and it hurt me seeing how hard she struggled for me and my siblings but she did it. Two years later and he is still terrorizing my mother and being a nonexistent father in every way. It has been over 7 months since he has last seen my sister and refuses to support her financially. Now, to further emotionally abuse my mom he wants to fight her in court for full custody of my baby sister. He does that with evil intentions, it is just another tactic of his to bring more misery to my mother's life. In the beginning of DEC. 2016 my mom had to put a restraining order against him because he was threatening her life once again and even going as far as having other people stalk and harass my mother. There is no doubt that he would seriously harm my mom if he gets the chance..

That is why I am here asking for your help. I look up to my mom more than anyone else, she has always helped others before herself. My only wish is for her to defeat this ‘man’ once and for all. My mom is too prideful (in the best way) to ask others for help, so I am doing it for her. We cannot let this despicable man win. My mom has had to hire two attorneys, one for the domestic violence case and one for the family case, but unfortunately her retainer fees have run out, bills are adding up, and if my mom cannot pay her attorneys they will leave her with no one to represent her in her fight against that monster. If everyone who reads this helps in whatever way they can, my mom will be able to protect herself and my baby sister from this psycho. Please, help my mom so she can finally live in peace.
