Hi everyone, my name is Paola, and I’m reaching out to share the story of my older brother, Angel Gonzales. Angel was a compassionate and selfless man who often volunteered for the city and our local villages in Peru. One evening, after finishing his volunteer work and heading home, he was brutally attacked from behind and tragically killed.

This was an unthinkable act of violence, and now our family is not only grappling with the grief of losing him, but also facing the challenge of seeking justice in a system where legal battles are costly and corruption is a harsh reality.

We are raising funds not only to cover the legal fees to ensure that Angel’s killer is held fully accountable, but also to support his children, especially his 13-year-old son. This young boy witnessed the aftermath of his father’s murder and is deeply traumatized. Part of the funds will go toward his schooling and the psychological support he needs to heal from this trauma.
