Help Us Say Goodbye to Jester – Our Beloved Rescue of 15 Years

Fifteen years ago, God placed Jester into our lives. Today, with broken hearts but faith in His plan, we are asking for help to honor the life He allowed us to share.

Jester was never just a dog. He was a blessing—family in every sense of the word. For 15 beautiful years, he walked beside us through life’s joys and struggles, offering comfort, loyalty, and unconditional love. His passing was sudden and unexpected, and the pain of losing him has left a deep emptiness in our hearts.

We rescued Jester when he was only a puppy. His original owner never returned for him, and he was about to be put down simply because no one claimed him. We truly believe it was God’s hand that led us to him at that moment. We chose to give him a chance at life, and in return, he gave us years of love that we will forever be grateful for.

Jester grew up with us. As an indoor dog. He witnessed our tears, celebrated our joys, and remained faithful through every season of our lives. Saying goodbye so suddenly has been one of the hardest moments we’ve ever faced while we're away.

We also want to be honest and open. We had just returned from a recent holiday when this heartbreaking loss occurred. The trip had been planned and paid for through a loan long before Jester became ill, and we never imagined coming home to a medical emergency and losing him so suddenly. We understand that some may question this, and we humbly ask for grace and understanding during this painful time.

We are now facing medical bills and funeral expenses totaling around €2,500, from two veterinary clinics, and we are struggling to cover them. Asking for help is not easy, but we want to give Jester a farewell filled with dignity, love, and gratitude for the life God allowed him to live with us.
