Help us save what's left of our lives

I am Sabreen, a mother of three children. My husband has been battling cancer for ten years, fighting against the pain and weakness that eat away at his body day by day. The illness has been like a plague, stealing his strength and vitality, and it continues to rob him of any hope for recovery.
Every day, I witness my husband’s decline while I do my best to be a pillar of support for him and our children, even as sorrow fills my heart. We had nothing but our faith in God and the mercy of kind people who occasionally helped us, but such support has become rare. The cost of my husband’s treatment has become overwhelming, and I can no longer bear it alone. Every treatment, every doctor’s visit, every medication adds another heavy burden to a heart already weighed down with grief and worry.
Yet we have no choice but to keep going, because my husband and children are all I have. But life has shown us no mercy. After years of patience, the war came and destroyed what little hope we had left. Our home, once a place of comfort and cherished memories, is now nothing but ashes. Its walls were destroyed, and the window that used to welcome the sunlight was shattered. Buried in that home are our memories—moments of joy and hope. Everything was swept away.
Today, we are without a safe shelter. We live in the midst of a bitter conflict. The war devours everything around us, and my husband continues to suffer from his merciless illness. Our young children need care and attention, and we have no stable income or anyone to support us. Prices are skyrocketing everywhere, and we are struggling to secure food and water, let alone medicine and basic necessities. Today, we stand alone. Everyone is preoccupied with their own hardships, each person fighting to survive in this difficult situation.
I can’t bear all of this on my own, and the dream of rebuilding our life feels so far away now. I ask you—from anyone reading these words—to extend a helping hand. We are in desperate need of your support. Without it, we cannot bear this burden. We need your help to cover my husband’s medical expenses, to find a safe shelter for us, and to give our children hope for a better tomorrow. I pray you will help ease the pain we live with and be a source of strength for us in these hard times. You are the hope we need.
