Port Perry Fairgrounds Under Threat and we need your help

The Port Perry Fairgrounds has been a mainstay destination for many events since 1910, including the annual fair that runs on Labour Day weekend. Recently the grounds have been threatened by a possible change in usage by the local Town Council. Council and staff are wanting to conduct a vision exercise on the property now. Similar exercises in Collingwood added 2200 units of housing on their site, sped up with an MZO. There is a fear amongst many members of the community the same fate will befall the local fairgrounds. Our group has started a petition to protect the fairgrounds and preserve them as they have been for over a century.

We also need financial support to spread the word. Flyers, posters, lawn signs are where we want to start. A small donation can go a long way towards outreach in our community. Please help us reach our goal and save this property for future generations to enjoy!
