If you've ever been part of the Scotty's family, you know it's more than a daycare. It's a place where teachers know your child, families feel supported, and children feel safe, loved, and at home.

In 1984, Lillian Lanz started Scotty's after the daycare her young son attended closed. She couldn't find the kind of care she wanted for her child, so she created it herself. What began as a home daycare with six children grew into the Scotty's Kiddy Korner that generations of local families know and love.

For 42 years, Scotty's has been there for our community, including through COVID, when it stayed open for medical workers, first responders, and families who had nowhere else to turn.

Now Scotty's needs us.

Rising costs and a changing childcare market have made it hard for a family-owned center to keep up. Michael and Lillian are fighting to keep the doors open, and they're working on a long-term plan: more enrollment, more marketing, grants, and new partnerships. What they need right now is time.

Our goal is $25,000. Every dollar goes to paying teachers and covering essential operating costs while Scotty's rebuilds.
