A message from the family…

Our family is facing an urgent crisis, and we are asking for help to save our home.

In January 2015, we lost our mom, Wanda Duffy. She was the financial breadwinner of our family, and her passing left us not only grieving, but struggling to keep up with the costs of maintaining our home. Our dad did everything he could to manage on his own, but over time the financial burden became too much. Out of pride and love for us, he tried to carry it alone instead of asking for help, while his mental health also declined after losing her.

My brother and I recently learned that the property taxes had fallen behind, and our home has now gone to a municipal tax sale. We are at risk of losing the house we grew up in — the place filled with memories of our mom and the stability our family desperately needs right now.

We have until April 22, 2026 to raise $15,363.08 to stop the tax sale and save our home. This is incredibly time-sensitive, and without these funds, we could lose it entirely.
