Hi my name is Layla and We’re CatsNCatsNCats Community Cat Sanctuary & TNR Program — a grassroots team of rescuers, trappers, and caregivers working to reduce the suffering of outdoor cats through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), rescue, and sanctuary care in southern Alberta.
We’re raising $20,000 to fund our lifesaving TNR operations and take the next step toward building a safe sanctuary for community cats who can’t go back due to injury, illness, or disability.
Why We Need Your Help
Every day, we’re out there responding to calls about stray, injured, and feral cats. TNR is the most humane and effective way to reduce cat overpopulation, but it takes funding — for traps, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines, transport, and supplies. We are registered both federally and provincially as Non Profit and are applying for CRA charitable status.
On top of that, some cats simply cannot return to the outdoors. They’ve been hit by cars, suffered chronic illness, or are too vulnerable to survive. We make sure those cats aren’t left behind.
Until now, we’ve carried most financial burden ourselves with some help from good people around the world — covering vet bills, colony food, travel, and emergency care — but the need has outgrown our personal resources.
What Your Donation Supports
Your gift will directly fund:
• TNR supplies and surgeries (traps, spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips)
• Daily care for colonies (food, shelter, medical supplies)
• Transport costs to move cats to rescue, foster, and vet care
• Emergency medical care for injured or sick cats
• Startup costs for a small sanctuary for unadoptable cats
• A sustainable operating budget to keep our work going
Be a Lifeline
Your support will help us save lives, prevent suffering, and give every cat — even the ones no one else wants — a second chance.
