Help Us Save Babe Cave. The Vision Needs the Room to Survive

Help us save the Babe Cave.

The vision only works if the room survives. So we are asking for something very specific: 3,000 supporters, each giving $100. That is the whole campaign. That is what keeps this room alive.

If 3,000 of us show up, the Babe Cave does not just survive. It becomes the business it was always designed to be.

What this room is

The Babe Cave is more than a cocktail bar. It is a women-centered social house on Bank Street in Charlotte, built to celebrate and support women through hospitality, community, education, wellness, creativity, and meaningful connection. The promotions are toasted here. The birthdays. The Girl Dinners. The classes. The "I met my best friend here" moments.

And to be clear about what we are: women-centric, not women-only. We center women the way a jazz club centers the music. Everyone is welcome in the room. The spotlight just is not up for debate.

What we have built together

Phase One raised $350,000 and built the foundation: a permanent home, the build-out, the brand, and proof that Charlotte wanted a room like this. Phase Two raised another $150,000 to strengthen operations, open the Coco Room for private events, and pilot a wellness residency.

You showed up for all of it: 87,000+ supporters. 175+ events. 10,000+ guests. 21,000+ cocktails. 50+ partnerships, with more than $250,000 in revenue generated for the businesses we collaborate with. Our wellness residency grew revenue 200% with almost no investment.

The demand was never the question. Women are not waiting for this concept. They are already here.

The honest part

Rooms like this are rare because they are hard to keep. Women-owned hospitality concepts remain chronically underfunded, receiving only a fraction of traditional investment capital, and undercapitalized venues are closing at a pace this industry cannot ignore.

We will say it out loud, the way we have always taught this community to ask for what it needs: proof of concept is not the same as a sustainable business. We have the first. Phase Three builds the second. Outsourcing our food has already cost us more than $200,000 in sales we should have kept in-house. Without a coffee program, we cannot extend our hours without losing money on every one of them. This raise fixes the math, permanently.

Where your $100 goes:

$300,000 funds four things, and every one of them creates revenue:

The Kitchen. An in-house kitchen brings home the sales we have been handing off to someone else and strengthens catering and private-event income.

The Coffee Program. Coffee is what makes daytime hours possible. Consistent daily revenue, an all-day destination.

The Beauty Program. Built on our wellness residency's proven 200% growth. Programming, retail, and onsite services for the whole woman.

The Membership. Recurring revenue that does not depend on any single night. High-value membership experiences that will strengthen the community.

You do not have to be a babe to back this

If this room has ever held you, hold it back. If you love someone this room has held, give in her honor, and we will put her name on the Babes Wall. And if you simply believe Charlotte should keep the places that make it Charlotte, this is how you vote for that.

3,000 supporters. $100 each. One room that belongs to all of us.

This is not charity. It is co-authorship. Donate, share this page, and come raise a glass to the next chapter.
