Help Us Save 5 Puppies Left to Die in the Heat – They Deserve Justice and Love

On Saturday, September 6th, 2025, somewhere between 7am and 2pm, a horrible person abandoned five innocent puppies in a cardboard box on the side of Cajalco Road in Lake Mathews, CA. These precious little lives were left to suffer in the scorching heat, completely helpless and betrayed by someone who could do such a heartless thing.

Thanks to the quick actions of one of our dedicated employees, the puppies were discovered and pulled to safety. They are only 7-8 weeks old—fragile, scared, and in desperate need of care. We took them into our safe haven at K-9 Companions Dog Training, where they will be cared for until we can find them loving, forever homes.

But these puppies need your help. Their journey toward healing and happiness is just beginning. They urgently need vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and medical attention. We are committed to covering all of their obedience training so they will be well-behaved and ready for families that will cherish them.

We are angry that someone could treat these innocent puppies with such cruelty but grateful that they are now safe with us. We are calling on our community’s kindness and compassion to help us give these puppies the second chance they deserve. Every dollar will go directly toward their medical costs, vaccinations, spays/neuters, and future care.

Please, if you can find it in your heart to help, no amount is too small. Together, we can hold the abuser accountable by ensuring these puppies are given love, proper medical treatment, and forever homes.
