Hello, my name is Yahir, although many people know me as Yayi.

Almost eight years ago, I came to the United States seeking better opportunities and never imagined that so much time would pass without being able to return home. During this time, I have worked hard to build a stable life for my daughter and me, always doing my best to meet our responsibilities and move forward with dignity.

However, returning home after so many years also brings emotional moments, including facing the reality that some loved ones are no longer with us, and grieving their absence from afar has been very difficult.

I am a hardworking mother and always try to provide for my family on my own. Asking for help is not easy for me, but at this moment, while continuing to meet my responsibilities here, I am not able to afford the travel expenses needed to make this reunion possible.

More than anything, I hope to return home, feel those warm hugs I have missed for so long, and recharge my heart with the love and energy that only family can give. I also hope to fulfill my grandfather’s dream of seeing us again after all these years apart.

Due to the current situation , we cannot travel directly there. Instead, we must travel first to Colombia, arriving in Cúcuta, The funds raised will help cover flights, transportation, temporary lodging during travel, and basic travel expenses for my daughter and me.

With humility and hope, I am asking for support to help make this long-awaited reunion possible. Any contribution, big or small, or simply sharing our story, truly means the world to us.

Hola, mi nombre es Yahir, aunque muchos me conocen como Yayi.

Hace casi ocho años llegué a Estados Unidos buscando mejores oportunidades y nunca imaginé que pasaría tanto tiempo sin poder regresar a mi país. Durante este tiempo he trabajado duro para construir una vida estable para mi hija y para mí, cumpliendo siempre con nuestras responsabilidades y tratando de salir adelante con dignidad.

Sin embargo, volver después de tantos años también significa enfrentar momentos difíciles, como aceptar la pérdida de familiares que ya no están y a quienes no pudimos despedir debido a la distancia.

Soy una madre trabajadora y siempre trato de resolver todo con mis propios medios. Pedir ayuda no es fácil para mí, pero en este momento, mientras sigo cumpliendo con mis responsabilidades aquí, no cuento con los recursos suficientes para cubrir los gastos necesarios para hacer posible este viaje.

Más que nada, deseo regresar a casa, sentir esos abrazos cálidos que tanto hemos extrañado y recargarme del amor y la energía que solo la familia puede brindar. También espero cumplir el sueño de mi abuelo de volver a vernos después de tantos años separados.

Debido a la situación actual, no podemos viajar directamente, por lo que debemos viajar primero a Colombia, llegando a Cúcuta , Los fondos recaudados ayudarán a cubrir pasajes, transporte, alojamiento temporal durante el trayecto y gastos básicos de viaje para mi hija y para mí.

Con mucha humildad y esperanza, estoy pidiendo apoyo para hacer posible este reencuentro familiar tan esperado. Cualquier ayuda o incluso compartir nuestra historia significa muchísimo para nosotras.
