Today around 1pm, my dad was detained by ICE in Pomona, California. He was simply walking to the store to buy groceries when ICE chased and attacked him. My dad tried to run even though he’s physically unable to because of a work accident he’s been healing from for the past two years.

My dad is not a criminal. He is a father, a husband, a brother, a friend. He is the best dad in the world to my sister and me, and he’s an amazing husband to my mom. ICE’s actions have completely torn our little family apart, and we’re devastated.

We would truly appreciate anything that can help bring my dad home. He does not deserve what he’s going through. He’s our provider, our support, and without him we are lost. My mom is not working right now, my younger sister is still in high school, and I’m a college student trying my best to help.

Any donations will go toward getting a lawyer for my dad and helping us stay afloat while we figure out how to bring him back home. We are also grateful for any guidance or support during this time.
