Help Us Reunite with Family in North Carolina

My brother and I are hoping to reunite with our mom and family in North Carolina for the first time in over six months. We all used to live there together, but life has taken us in different directions, and it’s been hard to find the time and resources to visit. With our younger siblings about to start school and summer coming to an end, this is our only window to bring everyone together. Our younger brother, who just became a parent, is able to take time off work, and our cousins from Georgia are also making the trip. We want to spend time at the beach—a tradition we hope to start, since we’ve only ever gone once with our younger siblings. It’s a rare chance for all of us to reconnect, play in the sand, share stories, and make new memories as a family.

We’ve been working hard to make this trip possible. Both of us have been picking up every available shift at the restaurant where we work as servers, doing odd jobs, and even selling personal belongings like cameras and instruments. We’ve cut back on all non-essential spending and have tried to find extra work around town, from power washing to donating plasma. Despite our efforts, we’re still short on funds for the trip. Our 2014 BMW X drive GT needs an oil change, several sensors replaced, and a tune-up to make the drive safely. We also need help with gas, food, and toiletries. Our cousins are generously covering the hotel room, but we need support to cover the rest.

We’re planning to travel to North Carolina on August 22nd and return to Pennsylvania on the 28th. Any help you can give will bring our family together and help us create memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for considering supporting our journey.
