Help us restore the Danforth Table!

The Danforth Table has served Number Six for around ~70 years and has been a focal point of the house for studying, activities, and parties alike.

Unfortunately, last Founder's Day (April 2022) was too much for the table to handle:

After a particularly rowdy Founders Day, where undergrads and alums alike gave some harsh treatment to the beloved table, things started to fall apart! As of today, the table has lost a plank, the joints are beyond repair, and a botched attempt at restoration a few years ago left it looking unrecognizable from its former glory.

We looked for proposals from a few carpenters to restore this table, hoping to find an affordable and professional carpenter to do this work. We need around $4,200 for essential restoration and refinishing (and will need to raise a bit more to cover GoFundMe and card-processing fees).

Fixing wear and tear is our responsibility as undergrads, but we're hoping our alums can help us cover these costs!
