Help Us Restore Collins Park Playground

Hello,

I'm fundraising on behalf of the Collins Park Playground Committee.

Over the past month, four essential pieces of equipment have been removed from our community playground due to significant wear and tear, as well as repeated incidents of vandalism. The estimated cost of repairs is €4,000 — and this does not include the replacement of the much-loved infant basket swing, a further €1500 on it own.

We are committed to restoring the playground and are moving ahead with the necessary repairs. Our goal is to have the playground fully operational again by mid-July. However, we cannot do this alone — we need your support.

The scale of the damage has come as a real shock, and the vandalism is heartbreaking. As volunteers, it's incredibly disheartening to see our efforts undone. It leaves us asking, “Is it worth it?” — but with your help, the answer can be a resounding yes.
