My name is Elizabeth, and I’m a single parent doing my best to care for my kids. Just two weeks before Christmas, someone stole our car right from our driveway with a couple of my children’s presents inside the trunk. I made a police report and reported it stolen, but I still haven’t been notified that it’s been found. I never imagined something like this would happen to our family, and it’s been absolutely devastating. That car was everything to us—it was how I got my kids to school, to their appointments, and how I managed my own SMI appointments after a recent diagnosis. Now, I can’t even get groceries for us, and the timing couldn’t be worse with the holidays so close.

This year has already been incredibly tough for my children and me, especially with no help from their fathers. I worked so hard to provide that vehicle for my family, and it’s heartbreaking to have it taken away. The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward replacing our car, so we can get back on our feet and regain some stability. Any help would mean the world to us right now.
